Making Cacao

Brought by the Indians to the Caribbean coast

Should be a perfect pod, but an airborne bacteria infected this crop… you get the idea though :-)

Cacao beans inside the pod. The white meat is pretty tasty too, even when unroasted! 

Amazing… Like the texture of a brownie but without the dough, just ground cacao beans, cinnamon, vanilla, water, and a hint of powdered milk. Nuggets of cacao and cinnamon in every bite.

I prefer my chocolate dark, organic and fresh – like most things in life! ;-)

How do you prefer your chocolate? Dark? White? “Con leche”?
